Lakewood Arts Festival Returns August 4
The 41st annual festival will feature 178 artists from around the country. It's a can't miss event.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood Arts Festival, one of Northeast Ohio's longest running arts festivals, will return on August 4. This year's event will feature works from 178 artists from around the nation.
The 41st Annual Lakewood Arts Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will again be held on Detroit Avenue, between Arthur and Belle avenues. Besides the many artists, there will also be more than 30 booths featuring various not-for-profit organizations. There will also be food, beverages, products and activities for children.
The city said live music will be played throughout the day at City Center Park, located at Cook and Detroit avenues, in front of the Lakewood Public Library. A map of the festival, and where everything will be located, can be viewed by clicking here.

During the August 4 festival, Detroit Avenue in downtown Lakewood, between Arthur and Belle avenues, will be closed between 5:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. The festival will take place rain or shine and is free.
The Lakewood Arts Festival also awards a scholarship each year to a deserving high school student that is pursuing a degree in the arts. Tax deductible donations can be made to the scholarship fund online.
