Lakewood Bank Robbed Monday
The PNC Bank on Detroit Road was hit Monday afternoon. No one was hurt during the incident.
LAKEWOOD, OH — The PNC Bank at 14205 Detroit Road in Lakewood was robbed on Monday. Before police could arrive, the suspect ran off. Luckily, the suspect was caught a short while later nearby.
The robbery took place at about 3 p.m. No one was hurt inside the bank. Police were called to the scene and the man ran out of the bank and went west on Detroit before officers arrived.
Police provided a description of the man to nearby officers. A man matching the description was spotted near Madison Avenue and Baxterly Avenue. Police were able to arrest the man. Charges against the suspect are currently pending.
