Lakewood Bank Robbed Wednesday, FBI Looking For Suspect
Investigators are asking the public for help in locating the lone suspect in the Citizens Bank robbery.
LAKEWOOD, OH - The FBI are looking for a man that robbed Citizens Bank in Lakewood on Wednesday morning.
According to the agency, an unarmed man walked into the Madison Avenue bank at 11:37 a.m. and handed a demands note to a teller. The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and then left the bank. He was last seen walking north on Ridgewood Avenue and crossing over Franklin Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black man, in his late 20s or early 30s. He was between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about 300 pounds. He was wearing a light gray T-shirt, dark pants and a Sean John baseball-style hat.
