LAKEWOOD, OH — With Major League Baseball bringing the All-Star Game to Cleveland from July 5 to July 10, Lakewood bars and liquor permit holders will be able to extend their last call hours with a special permit.

The All-Star Game and its festivities qualify as a "major event" based on Ohio law. That means liquor permit holders can extend their last call hours to 4 a.m.

The last time Lakewood establishments could extend their last call was during the Republican National Convention.
