Lakewood "bigs" dominate in Christmas tournament
Lakewood Boys Basketball team wins handily at NEO Classic basketball event .
Lakewood basketball is on the rise in more ways than one. Their length was evident as they handily beat Massillon Washington at the NEO Basketball Classic event held at Garfield Heights HS (65 - 49). Tommy Sala, Tim Smith and Zion Darby (the 'bigs') are all over 6'5" and they demonstrate a good degree of athleticism for big men. Members of the press/media spoke highly of their composure, discipline and ability to make the most of their height.
