Lakewood Chalk Your Walk Set for This Weekend

Lakewood offers 180+ miles of sidewalks. This weekend, let's chalk them all to show we are in this together.

As one of Ohio’s most walkable cities, Lakewood offers 180+ miles of sidewalks. This weekend, let’s chalk them all to show we are in this together.

LakewoodAlive announces the Lakewood Chalk Your Walk community solidarity initiative taking place this weekend (Friday, April 3 through Sunday, April 5) throughout our city. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of this beautiful spring weather to break out your sidewalk chalk and head outside to add chalk art to your driveway, apartment balcony or the sidewalk in front of your residence.

Chalk messages of hope, inspiration and humor are strongly encouraged as we all navigate this difficult time. We ask that you share your sidewalk chart art to our Facebook event using hashtag “#LakewoodChalkYourWalk” for a chance to have your chalk art featured on the LakewoodAlive social pages next week.

A few guidelines for Lakewood Chalk Your Walk:
