Lakewood City Council Announces 2020 Meeting Schedule
City council will continue to meet on the first and third Mondays of the month.

LAKEWOOD, OH — This week, Lakewood City Council announced its meeting schedule for 2020. Council will continue to meet on the first and third Mondays of every month.
With a new mayor set to take office on Jan. 1, there will be an empty seat on city council. Applications for the position are currently being accepted. The person selected to replace incumbent-mayor Meghan George will serve out the remainder of her term, which expires in two years.
A timeline for the replacement process will be set at the Jan. 6, 2020 Lakewood City Council meeting, the first meeting of the new year.
