Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:

1. The City of Lakewood is hosting a virtual public meeting to discuss Lakewood's draft community climate action plan. On Oct. 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., residents will learn about the draft plan and can share feedback. (Lakewood Gov)
2. The Lakewood Police Department plans to buy new technology and increase patrols at Madison Park, thanks to a grant. The park has seen a recent spike in violent crime. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine awarded the grant in the eighth round of the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program. (Highland County Press)
