🌱 Lakewood Diversity Potluck + Beach Hazards Statement

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Lakewood.

Hi there, Lakewood. I'm here in your inbox today to tell you everything you need to know about what's going on around town.

First, today's weather:

Mostly sunny and breezy. High: 75 Low: 59.

Here are the top three stories today in Lakewood:

  1. The Lakewood Diversity Potluck united the community through food on Jun. 24. The event was founded by Ohio State Senator Nickie Antonio and Nahida Farunia. Guests were encouraged to bring a dish, its accompanying recipe, and serving utensils to share with the Lakewood community. The unique event is meant as an opportunity for the community to learn about different cultures. (Spectrum News 1)
  2. Is the current housing market making you feel a little overwhelmed? Patch and Redfin have teamed up to create a helpful list of the latest Lakewood properties that have hit the market. Click to view the full list that includes prices, photos, and property dimensions. (Lakewood Patch)
  3. Cuyahoga County is currently under a Beach Hazards Statement until 8:00 p.m. tonight. The statement has been issued due to a high risk of rip currents occurring. County residents are advised to not swim during this time. (News 5 Cleveland)
