Lakewood Diversity Potluck Set For Thursday

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Community Diversity Potluck will be held Thursday evening at the Woman's Club Pavilion at Lakewood Park. Guests should bring a dish which represents their family and cultural or ethnic background.

"Bring your family and join your neighbors as we celebrate Lakewood’s diversity through the enjoyment of good food and good company. There will be fun activities for all ages," the city said in a statement on its website.

The potluck will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tableware and beverages will be provided.

Dishes should serve at least six people and can be vegan, vegetarian or include meat. Each dish should come with a recipe for guests to check out.

The Community Diversity Potluck is organized by the Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Commission. Lakewood Park is located at 14532 Lake Avenue.

Current forecasts predict a cloudy but dry Thursday. Temperatures will climb into the low 40s before dipping back into the 30s, the National Weather Service predicted.
