Lakewood Football Has A New Website

A new head coach, a new season, why not a new website?

LAKEWOOD, OH — This year has been one rife with change for the Lakewood City Schools. The district has announced a new superintendent, a new head football coach and now a new website for the Lakewood Rangers football program.

After the team went 1-9 last season, and Tom Hannan bailed on the team after just one year, the district brought in Tom Thome from the Twinsburg Schools. The new varsity head coach Tweeted out a link to a new, football-focused website this week.

The new website is dedicated strictly to Lakewood Rangers football and includes announcements on team progress, camps and other events. The new website can be viewed by clicking here.

For example, the website shared that work has already started on next season's Rangers football team. Athletes and coaches are "working tirelessly in the weight room every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the Lakewood High School Weight Room from 3:30 to 5:00 pm . The Rangers have also put in extra work on two Ranger Dawns, Ranger Dawns are competition days on Saturday Mornings."

Here's to hoping for a better season in 2018-2019.
