Lakewood H2O Summer Service Camp Applications Available

Want to get your kids out of the house this summer and involved in helping the community?

The Lakewood Department of Human Services-Division of Youth H2O “Help to Others” Summer Service Camp is now accepting applications. This year will mark the addition of one week mini-session exclusive to sixth graders from June 6-10.

According to a Lakewood news release, “H2O connects Lakewood youth with volunteer opportunities to develop a strong desire to serve the community. Nurtured by a culture of kindness, they learn valuable skills while helping others. They grow into more engaged citizens empowered to make an impact in the world.”

The two week camp offers Lakewood resident 7-9 graders a chance to perform activities at various service sites and build team skills while trained by youth staff service mentors.

Applications are available online and are due by Saturday, April 30 by 5 p.m.
