  1. Lakewood was listed as one of the best suburban neighborhoods to move to by Thrillist, a New York-based online media website that covers food, drink, travel, and entertainment. The article highlights affordability, cultural variety, and the local food scene. Immigrant Son Brewery, Western Reserve, Aladdin's, and Indian Garden are a few of the restaurants and breweries noted. (Thrillist)
  2. To highlight the outdoor recreation opportunities that are available in Cuyahoga Falls and Northeast Ohio, the city of nearby Cuyahoga Falls is hosting an Outdoor Rec Fest on Saturday, Jul. 2 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. downtown. The event will spotlight hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, fishing, and climbing. "Exciting opportunities for outdoor recreation in Cuyahoga Falls continue to expand for residents and visitors alike," Mayor Don Walters stated. (Cleveland.com)
  3. Temperatures will continue to warm up today with highs around 90 degrees. A cold front will move into the area Sunday bringing more humidity and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
