Lakewood Man Killed In Pedestrian-Car Accident
The 71-year-old was hit and killed while walking on Mayfield Road in South Euclid, the County Medical Examiner said.
LAKEWOOD, OH — A 71-year-old Lakewood man was hit by a car and killed while walking on Mayfield Road in South Euclid, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed on Monday.
The Lakewood man was identified as James Chapman. He was walking along Mayfield Road when he was struck by a truck. His body was found in the 4200 block of Mayfield on Saturday.
Police have not released information on the driver, but did say they may face potential charges, WEWS reported. Chapman was on the sidewalk at the time of the accident, according to reports.
