Lakewood Needs Crossing Guards
The city said that crossing guards work about two hours each day and earn $13.53 per hour.
LAKEWOOD, OH - Lakewood officials are looking to hire crossing guards for the 2019-2020 school year.
“School Crossing Guards play an important role in keeping our students safe,” said Lt. Roger Warner. “We are looking to forward to working with committed individuals that will enjoy the opportunity to interact with Lakewood’s young people.”
Crossing guards work part-time, putting in about two hours each day. Lakewood crossing guards earn $13.53 an hour.

Applicants need to be at least 18 and be able to work in inclement weather. The city said crossing guards must be able to move around during their two hours of duty. Crossing guards must also have a valid driver's license, a reliable mode of transportation, pass a drug screening test, and have a high school diploma or GED.
Applications are being accepted online.
