Lakewood Pools Hiring Lifeguards, Managers

LAKEWOOD, OH — Rooftops may still be covered in snow, but summer will be here in no time. With an eye on the coming seasons, the Lakewood Recreation Department is looking to hire lifeguards and pool managers for both Becks and Foster pools.

In a post on Instagram, the recreation department said, "We are looking for great people to fill seasonal positions as swim instructors, lifeguards, scorekeepers, camp counselors, and more. What's better than working at a pool or ball field? Applications preferred by March 31, 2020."

The department also posted on its own website saying it needed pool managers for both Becks and Foster pools. The managers would oversee the schedules of lifeguards, camp counselors and other seasonal positions.

Both pool managers will work five shifts per week. The Foster pool manager starts June 3 and continues work until August 13. The Becks pool manager starts May 29 and continues work until August 12.
