LAKEWOOD, OH - The Lakewood Post Office building is for sale. Residents have noticed the large sign posted outside the facility and have rightly wondered about the future of the post office in Lakewood.

A U.S. Postal Service spokesperson told Patch there are currently no plans to move the Lakewood Post Office. However, the Post Office's lease at the location expires in August. When asked if plans may change when the lease was up, the spokesperson did not respond.

However, as of right now, the spokesperson said, there are "no plans to move."

The Lakewood Post Office is located at 1475 Warren Road.

The location is being sold by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, according to the sign posted outside the building. A spokesperson for the company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Patch. This story will be updated when comment is provided.
