Lakewood Raising Cane's Holding Grand Opening Celebration
On September 24, at the grand opening, 20 people will win free Raising Cane's meals for a year.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood Raising Cane's will welcome its first customers on September 24. The grand opening day will be filled with giveaways and celebrations at the restaurant.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring our ONE LOVE to Caniacs in Lakewood,” said Eric Ongaro, president of Raising Cane’s Ohio. “We’ve assembled an exceptional crew of 100 members, and the new restaurant is in the perfect location near Lakewood High School and Lakewood St. Edwards. We look forward to getting more involved and becoming an integral part of the community.”
Festivities will start at 7:30 a.m. when a DJ starts playing music and giveaway prizes and trivia will begin at 8 a.m. Raising Cane's will then hold its "Lucky 20" drawing awarding 20 customers free Cane's for a year. Participants in the "Lucky 20" drawing must be 13 or older. Entries for the contest will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and the drawing will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Customers must be present to win.

“We had a lot of fun volunteering with the Lakewood Community Services Center Food Bank,” said Taylor Zupanic, general manager on Raising Cane’s Lakewood. “The food pantry serves 17 percent of the Lakewood community, so it was an honor to have had the opportunity to pack and serve food with an organization that makes such a positive impact.”
Located at 14115 Detroit Avenue — where Bob Evans used to stand — Lakewood's location will be only the second Raising Cane's in the Cleveland area. The restaurant chain opened a Strongsville franchise last summer.
Raising Cane's Lakewood will employ approximately 100 people in part-time and full-time positions.
