Lakewood Solar Informational Talk Coming To Lakewood Public Library

YellowLite solar, headquartered in downtown Cleveland on St. Clair was named one of two solar installation companies that have been awarded status of preferred installer for the Cuyahoga County Solar Co-Op organized through OHSUN. As of this writing, over 150 people have signed up to be part of the co-op. Co-op members selected the companies through an open and competitive bidding process. The co-op is open to new members through the end of the year. The deadline is December 31st, 2016.
Joining the group is not a commitment to purchase panels. The chosen installers will develop an individualized proposal for each co-op member. Co-op members can then decide if going solar makes sense for them. Co-op participants can save up to 20% off the cost of their installation by going solar with the group. This is in addition to the 30% Federal Tax Credit that is already offered. The Co-Op is expected to attract as many as 200 people by the end of the year.

“Lakewood is a progressive community with a lot of buildings that are perfect for solar,” said Ryan Veith, Communications Manager for YellowLite. “We have strong ties in the area. In fact, three of our solar consultants live in Lakewood. Hosting a solar informational talk is a really great way to tap into the community and help educate people about the economic and environmental benefits of solar.”
Guests will learn more about the solar industry, how much solar costs, and how much you can expect to save. A solar consultant will be providing on-site solar quotes for event participants. All that is needed is an address and an electric bill. All participants will receive an official YellowLite gift bag upon attendance.
