Lakewood St. Edwards Football Moves to Number One in Week 10

With one week before OHSAA determines playoff seeding, the rankings are settling into form.

LAKEWOOD, OH - St. Edward High School is now ranked number one in Region 1, Division 1, according to the latest computer rankings from OHSAA. The Eagles defeated Archbishop Moeller Oct. 22 by a score of 24-21.

The team's last regular season game will take place Oct. 29 against rival St. Ignatius. The Wildcats are currently ranked seventh in the region and bring an 8-1 record into the game.

Week 10 is the last of the regular season. OHSAA will formulate playoff seeding and games over the weekend and teams will know where they're going and who they're playing by Sunday. Here are the division one, region one rankings as they currently stand:
