Lakewood Teachers - Busy End of the Year!

Lakewood City Teachers working hard behind the scenes to make the end of the 2015-16 school year memorable for all!

The end of the school year marks a time of excitement and anticipation of what the summer and new school year will bring. The month of May was an extremely busy time for students, families and teachers in the Lakewood City Schools. Families attended concerts, field days, field trips, art shows, sporting events, one book one school events, art shows and the list goes on.

Many of these events would never be realized without the dedicated commitment of the Lakewood City School teachers guiding our students. It is with gratitude and pride that the Lakewood Teachers Association recognizes and thanks the outstanding efforts of the Lakewood teachers in creating a learning environment that enriches the whole child.

From the planning and executing of the 8th grade Washington DC trips to the field day events at the elementary schools, from the Art shows to the many Music concerts, from the Spring sporting events to the many field trips, from the coordination and development of summer reading programs to the many extra-curricular groups and clubs at all levels, the Lakewood City School teachers are there guiding and encouraging our students and families.
