LakewoodAlive Close To Fundraising Goal

The neighborhood-bolstering nonprofit is approaching its fundraising goal.

LAKEWOOD, OH — LakewoodAlive is within $5,000 of its annual fundraising goal, the group announced this week. Community members have until June 30 to help the organization's campaign.

"LakewoodAlive's nearing the end of our fiscal year fundraising campaign and we are thrilled with the support the community has shown," said Ian Andrews, executive director. "Our fiscal year ends on June 30 and we are within $5,000 of our fundraising goal."

LakewoodAlive supports a variety of neighborhood-bolstering programs in Lakewood, including the Main Street program in downtown, housing outreach, education seminars and the Front Porch concert series.

"Donations of all sizes will help with supporting residents by ensuring everyone lives in healthy and safe housing; working with merchants to help them get through COVID-19 by connecting them with resources and each other; continuing to add public art and beautification projects across the community; and hosting virtual events to keep the spirit of our event calendar going strong," Andrews said.
