Lakewood's Cove Park Reopening June 14
The city will celebrate the reintroduction of the park with a series of evening festivities.

LAKEWOOD, OH - Cove Park will re-open on June 14. The city has an evening of festivities planned to celebrate the improvements made at the park.
“These renovations were truly community-driven,” said Ward 4 Councilman Dan O’Malley. “I commend the Citizens Advisory Committee for recognizing the great need to re-invest in Cove Park and to the many residents who came out to offer their suggestions at community meetings. I am pleased that the Planning Department was able to incorporate so many resident suggestions and deliver a Cove Park for Ward 4 to be proud of.”
Activities at the renovated park will start at 5:30 p.m. on June 14. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 6 p.m. and family-friendly activities from the Lakewood Public Library, the Lakewood YMCA and other community groups will go on until 7:30 p.m. The event will happen rain or shine.
