LHS History Club to Present on World War II Dec. 3
Focus will be on Lakewoodites' role in the war and an up close perspective of two individual soldiers.
You are cordially invited to the next Lakewood High School History Club program. On Sunday, December 3 at 7 pm at the Lakewood Pubic Library Auditorium, LHS sophomore Adele Daniels and club adviser Dr. Chuck Greanoff will present "Lakewood in World War II, The Story of Many."
The program will explore the magnitude of commitment and sacrifice Lakewood citizens, however, the primary focus will be on two soldiers, one from the Pacific and one from the European theatre. Lakewoodites played a large role in this war.
The LHS History Club aspires to engage students, staff and citizens of Lakewood in dialogue about the history of our town, region, nation and world. All presentations are created and delivered collaboratively by teachers and students. President Faiza Manaa and the entire club hope to see you there.
