Melt Bar And Grill Nominated For National Award
The restaurant won the 2018 Restaurant Neighbor Award for the state of Ohio. Now it will compete with other winners across the U.S.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Melt Bar and Grill has been named the state winner of the 2018 Restaurant Neighbor Award. The designation is given to restaurants that go above and beyond to perform community service in their neighborhoods. Melt will now compete with other state winners for the national prize.
“It’s awesome to win this state award,” said Matt Fish, owner and founder of Melt, “but the reason we do so much for the community is because we love doing it, and it’s the right thing to do. If we can help inspire others to get involved in helping their community, even better!”
Three national award winners will be selected. Those restaurants will get $10,000 to put toward a charity of their choice.

Last year's state winners from Ohio included the Apple Group (which owns Applebee's), Max & Erma's and Wendy's. Each brand was selected for its massive charity work, raising, in most cases, millions of dollars for different causes.
The national award winners for 2017 were the Red Barn Restaurant in Maine, Gecko's Grill and Pub in Florida, and Dairy Queen. More information on each award winner can be found by clicking here.
