Missed Summer Solstice? Check Out This Photo Recap

If you were able to make it to one of Lakewood's iconic events, then see if you made it into our pictures.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Summer Solstice celebration in Lakewood has quickly become an iconic event in Northeast Ohio. Food trucks and bands set up in Lakewood Park, and attendees position themselves on the stone-like bleachers facing Lake Erie. As the sun sets on the longest day of the year, residents listen to live music and chow down on great food.

For this year's celebration, the weather also decided to do its part. While clouds came and went during the day, no rain fell Thursday night. And temperatures even dipped into the cool range, hovering around the mid-70s for most of the evening.

If you weren't able to make the event — or if you just want to see if you made it into one of our pictures — a Patch photographer was at the Solstice, making a digital record of the 2018 event. Check out all of the photos below.
