Need A Job? Lakewood Schools Need Subs

The district has a need for four substitutes in various positions throughout the school system.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Need a gig? You may be in luck. The Lakewood City Schools are hiring four substitute teachers and aides for various positions throughout the district.

Job postings indicate the school district needs the following substitutes: an educational interpreter, an educational aide, a secretary and a library/media aide. All four positions were posted on frontline education's website.

The interpreter will help get the community involved in different school district activities and should be fluent in American Sign Language. That position pays a little more than $20 an hour.

The educational aide is paid $10 an hour and will help teach students, under the guidance of a full-time teacher. They will also make sure that students are never left unattended in a classroom.

The secretary and library aide positions pay $10 an hour or $12 an hour to Lakewood retirees.
