Need a New Job? Lakewood Police Looking for New Officers
To be considered, you'll need to pass a physical and a written exam.

LAKEWOOD, OH - If you're looking for a new job, and you want some excitement in your life, you may be in luck. Lakewood's Civil Service Commission is going to be testing people for the position of Entry Level Patrol Officer.
The position pays $55,125.51 plus benefits. Applications are available on the city website. The city says the first 150 readable applications will be accepted. The test will be held Jan. 24 at Garfield Middle School, 13114 Detroit Ave., in the cafeteria. The test will start at 6:15 p.m.
You'll need to print out an application and attach your high school diploma or GED. You'll also need a valid driver's license. Bring the whole package to the city's law department. The deadline to apply is Monday, December 19, 2016.

Then you'll have to pass a written exam, with a score of 70 or higher, and get a certificate from Cuyahoga Community College saying you passed the Physical Agility Test. Additionally, your Physical test will have to have been taken after Jan. 23 of this year.
The cost of applying is $30. You have to pay in cash, money order or cashier's check. You cannot pay with personal checks.
