City officials said bicycling infrastructure is still being added throughout Lakewood.

LAKEWOOD, OH — New bike lanes have been added to Lake Avenue in Lakewood.

City officials said Lakewood ranked No. 1 for bicycling populations in Ohio in the 2008 American Community Survey. To accommodate cycling residents and encourage green transportation, in recent years the city has added more than four miles of bicycle lanes along Lake Avenue, Madison Avenue, Franklin Boulevard, Warren Road and the Clifton Boulevard Extension.

A map of recently completed, ongoing and planned projects has been shared by the city online.
