New Businesses Coming To Lakewood, Others Leaving: A Round-Up
Starbucks announced its first location in the suburb, Orangetheory opened its first Lakewood-franchise, and other news.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Over the past few weeks, several franchises and entrepreneurs have announced new businesses opening in Lakewood.
Given its proximity to downtown Cleveland, and its own thriving nightlife, Lakewood remains one of Cuyahoga County's hottest suburbs for young families and single residents. One of the ready-made appeals of the city is its collection of small businesses.
Orangetheory Fitness officially opened its first Lakewood location on Monday. The business is located at 14202 Detroit Ave., not far from Giant Eagle. Lakewood residents can take a free class at the high-tech gym with proof of residency.

Starbucks recently announced it would bring its first coffee shop to Lakewood. The new location will be at 15027 Detroit Ave., where the Burger King currently stands. The business will have a drive-thru and will employ approximately 20 people, according to News 5.
