A new face on board !

It seems that Progressive Democrats are making inroads in local politics and it reflects recent patterns that are being seen at a national level. Tristan Rader had a very efficient campaign with lots of support from Sen. Michael Skindell and others at the county and state level. My take on this as a recent NYC transplant is that the local citizenry wasn't happy with the lack of transparency on many issues, something I heard vocalized personally from neighbors on my block and at City Council meetings.
Like they say, "You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the time."
