LAKEWOOD, OH — The One Lakewood Place development received final zoning approval on Monday night.

The mixed-use development has already received approvals from the Architectural Board of Review and Planning Commission, and two public meetings on the project were held earlier this month. Lakewood City Council then approved the final zoning on Monday.

"One Lakewood Place received the final zoning approval on Monday June 17th, marking a major milestone for the project and is representative of years of work to prepare the project for support from city boards and commissions, city council, as well as support from many neighbors on Marlowe and Belle," Bryce Sylvester, Lakewood's director of planning and development, told Patch.

Demolition will continue at the site over the coming weeks, Sylvester added. Crews were able to salvage three arch windows from the corner of the hospital building. All three windows are in good condition.

Lakewood officials shared a digital walk-through of the site that can be viewed below.
