LAKEWOOD, OH — Parking lots at Lakewood Park and Winterhurst will be re-striped and sealcoated this week.

The park's lots will be done in three phases, while Winterhurst will be done in two phases. During construction, parking lot capacity will be reduced and traffic patterns will be changed to accommodate the work.

Drivers should follow posted roadway signs and barricades if they enter the construction zone, the city said.

"Please use caution when entering these parking lots to protect our workers. Do not enter barricaded areas. This work is expected to be completed within seven days barring any unforeseen weather conditions," the city said in a statement.

Current forecasts show a dry week with steadily rising temperatures. There is a chance for rain on Saturday and Sunday, though projections estimate there is only a 40 percent chance of rain over the weekend.
