Pearl Of The Orient Closing In Rocky River
After more than three decades in business, the Asian restaurant will close its doors for the last time in August.

ROCKY RIVER, OH — Pearl of the Orient Rocky River will close in August, the restaurant announced.
"To each of our wonderful patrons and staff, it is with great sadness that we announce that the Pearl ROCKY RIVER will be closing its doors at the end of August 2019," the restaurant said in a series of posts to its social media accounts.
Pearl of the Orient opened in May 1984 and became a staple of Rocky River dining during its 35 years in business. The restaurant was opened by George Hwang, a Hong Kong-native with a taste for delicious food.
