Here are the top three stories today in Lakewood:
- A section of I-90 east in Lakewood was reopened after a crash Sunday afternoon. Officials from the Ohio Department of Transportation reported the accident took place just before Alger Road, causing the highway to be shut down between Warren and Bunts Roads. Multiple fire trucks and ambulances were present at the scene, although information regarding injuries has not been reported. (WKYC.com)
- Thirty-two-year-old Michael Pedicini, a Cleveland man, is wanted by the Marshals and FBI on federal drug charges. Pedicini is charged with intent to distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, PCP, and marijuana. According to police, Pedicini was last living in the Lakewood and Cleveland areas. - Pleasant High School graduating senior Hunter Yancey plans on producing a video of Lakewood Ohio's St. Edward Football's Division 1 State Championship in the future. Yancey started making videos in middle school and is presently building his own production company, iHunter Productions. Yancey has made videos for the district and plans on furthering his studies in business and marketing at Ohio State Marion in the fall. (Marion Star)
