Photo, Video Of Mission Boutique Vandal Released
Patch has obtained a photograph and video of the suspect that spray painted sexist language on the Madison Ave. store.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Police have released more details on the vandalism of the Mission Boutique on Madison Ave. that took place earlier this week. Included in the newly released information is a photograph of the suspect. Patch has also obtained a copy of surveillance footage from within the store during the incident. That footage is at the bottom of this article and clearly depicts a woman spray painting the store.
The store had sexist comments spray painted on its facade and on its back doors, including a message for repentance. Images from the facade are at the bottom of this article. The vandalism is graphic.
Police said a single white line was spray painted across the front of the Mission, along with the sexist language. (To stay up to date on these stories, subscribe to the Patch Lakewood newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)

The suspect appears to be a white woman. She is wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, with the hood pulled up, obscuring some of her face. The woman may also be wearing a mask.
The building received help cleaning its windows from the city's Community Service crew. Mission Boutique owner Martin Lansky received widespread community support from friends and other business owners. Sherwin Williams brought Lansky graffiti remover. An employee of a nearby business helped scrub the paint off.
