Police Seek Man That Stole Detergent From Lakewood CVS

The man reportedly made off with three or four large containers of Tide detergent, police said.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Police are looking for a man that stole three or four large Tide containers from a CVS store on Clifton Boulevard. The man was last seen running north on Clifton, toward Lake Avenue.

The theft happened on New Year's Day, police said. Investigators are now asking the public for help identifying and locating the suspect.

The man that stole the Tide containers is described as a black male, approximately 40 to 45 years old. He was 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and had a thin to medium build. During the theft, he was wearing a black jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, and an orange and brown winter hat.
