Reminder: Do-Not-Knock Registrants Must Re-Register For New Year

The registry, which bars some door-to-door salesmen from knocking on registered Lakewood homes, expires Dec. 31.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Residents that have signed up to be part of the Do-Not-Knock registry must re-enroll in 2018. The registry bars some door-to-door salesmen from visiting registered homes.

Registration always expires on Dec. 31, meaning residents must re-enroll every year to enjoy the perks of being on the registry. Notably, some information submitted to the registry is considered public record and could be disclosed by the city.

The registry was created in 2011 by city council. To sign up for the registry, residents should click here.
