Rocky River Man Charged with Distributing Methamphetamines
Jamshed Ahmad, 43, was arrested for charges stemming from a July 2016 incident, when police found drugs and a gun in his hotel room.

ROCKY RIVER, OH - Jamshed Ahmad, a 43-year-old Rocky River man, has been charged with offenses related to drugs and firearms. His indictment came down Thursday, after he was arrested by police.
These charges stem from an incident last year. Police caught Ahmad on July 12, 2016 when they were called to help kick him out of the Radisson Hotel in Eastlake. Ahmad was refusing to leave the hotel and was refusing to pay the staff for his visit. When police went to his hotel room, they found the above mentioned gun and methamphetamine.
Ahmad allegedly had more than 50 grams of methamphetamine that day, the indictment says. He also had a Ruger LCP 380-caliber pistol and ammunition, despite a 2007 conviction for drug trafficking that made it illegal for him to have a firearm, according to the indictment.
