The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Lakewood.

Hi all! I'm here with your Monday edition of the Lakewood Daily, filled with all the local information you need to know right now. Let's have at it...

First, today's weather:

Warmer with a passing shower. High: 84 Low: 66.

Here are the top three stories in Lakewood and nearby communities today:

  1. Wine lovers, mark your calendars: Rozi's Wine House in Lakewood will be hosting a tasting on Saturday, Jun. 18 featuring sips from a trio of California wineries. Curated by Rozi's wine buyer Tony Baucco, the 12 wines will come from Fableist Winery and Field Recordings Wine of Paso Robles, and Bonny Doon Vineyard of Santa Cruz. The tasting, which is happening from 4 to 6 p.m., will be held in conjunction with Vintage Wine Distributors and Ampleography. Get more details here. (cleveland.com)
  2. The Lakewood Police Department will host another "Coffee With A Cop" event on Friday, Jun. 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Giant Eagle Supermarket. The community is invited to join members of the department for an opportunity to ask questions and to get to know their neighborhood officers. The participating officers will have some tokens to give away to those who stop by. (Lakewood Police Department via Facebook)
  3. Thousands of people gathered in downtown Cleveland on Saturday for Pride in the CLE 2022, the first march and rally by the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland since 2019. Marchers lined up in front of the Cleveland Public Library for the noon kick-off. This year's rally and festivities took place on Malls B and C after the march through downtown. (cleveland.com)
