Bob of Beer Engine, and all of you who participated, thank you, for initalizing this event, I had a ball, and I'm sure the other participants were pleased as well. yes, this the first year, some things will be tweeked, fine tuned, but I think a sucess, I conversed with passer by'ers I never spoke to befor, they were amazed..
I wonder why more properties did NOT get into the sprit. why?
The first time I went to Holiday Valley,
I was overwhelmed. in the darkness, driving over the hill and seeing the hillside abaze with homes proudly displaying the holiday sprit. colored lights adormed the homes, it was special...
I was having a holiday.
WE could be just as exciting, if only more property owners, businesses, banks, G T Brothers, would get involved, this could be the holiday display destination all of all time. another feather in our hat.
Now Christmas is coming, lets get busy, the weather is decent, lets decorate, for the children in all of us. lets do Christmas..... unlike any other, lets make a name for ourselves,
the uptown distrit. I'm probably blowing too much smoke. just my thoughts.
