The district both touted its success on some metrics and noted that these data points are not a comprehensive gauge of academic success.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood City Schools received their state report from the Ohio Department of Education last week. District officials both touted their relative success on some metrics, and noted that a singular collection of data points cannot be used to gauge the success of a school district.
"Lakewood City Schools is proud of the progress our students continue to make on their growth and achievement data. As a district we pride ourselves on being able to provide many services and programs that meet the needs of our students and families, many of which cannot be measured by a single test on a single day," said new Lakewood Superintendent Michael Barnes in an emailed statement to Patch.
