Shakespeare comes to Lakewood
Shakespeare, drama, Troilus and Cressida, stage, performance, acting, entertainment, culture, literature
Lakewood has some serious Shakespeare fans who showed up, ate gourmet foods on blankets and paid rapt attention to a play (Troilus and Cressida) that is rarely performed these days. It was a modern version, with great music and interesting dance sections that were choreographed by Leilani Barrett who is a veteran actor in the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival group. Afterwards I had a very pleasant conversation with the young Cleveland native who played the main role of Troilus.
