St. Ed's Football Returns Friday Against Mentor
The Eagles will be looking for revenge against the team that knocked them out of last year's playoffs.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The St. Edward football team will kick-off its season Friday in a revenge game against Mentor High. The two squads squared off in last season's regional semifinals playoff game, where the Cardinals upset St. Ed's, 21-13.
St. Edward had a fantastic 2017-2018 season, going undefeated until the team lost to bitter rival St. Ignatius in the last game of the regular season. With a rematch against the Wildcats on the line, the Eagles' hopes of retribution were dashed by Mentor.
The Eagles will be looking to grab some revenge, on the road, against Mentor. St. Edward will return home for its first home game on August 31 against Cass Technial, from Michigan.
