St. Ed's Hockey No. 3 In State Rankings

The Eagles trail only St. Igantius and Gilmour Academy in the Ohio coaches poll.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The St. Edward High hockey team is ranked third in the newest Ohio coaches poll. Only rival St. Ignatius and Gilmour Academy are currently ranked higher than the Eagles.

The Eagles are 11-4-2-0 on the season. They were ranked No. 3 in the last state coaches poll, so there has been no movement for the squad this week.

The St. Ed's sports website notes that the Eagles are 4-2-2-0 against the top 10 teams this year. Two other Cuyahoga County schools have teams in the top 10 rankings: Shaker Heights and Parma Heights.
