St. Edward Baseball Set For Postseason Play
Ranked No. 2 in the district, the Eagles are loaded with future college players.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The St. Edward Eagles baseball team is set to enter postseason play on May 8. The squad is the No. 2 ranked team in the district with a 13-5 record. Only Steele High School is ranked above the Eagles heading into sectional play.
St. Edward will play its first postseason game on May 8, at home. The Eagles will face the winner of the Lorain (ranked No. 7) versus Westlake (No. 10) game, which will be played May 7 in Lorain.
Should the Eagles beat their opponent, they'd advance to the district semifinals. That game will be played at the Lorain Pipe Yard in Lorain. A date or time has not been determined for that game. The district final would be played in the same location.
