Summer Solstice Celebration Approaches In Lakewood
On June 21, live music and food trucks will arrive at the city's Solstice Steps. Will you be there?

LAKEWOOD, OH — One of the biggest parties in Lakewood will return June 21, when food trucks and live music arrive at the city's Solstice Steps. The Summer Solstice celebration will run from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
A DJ will play music from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Fire Side Band rocks a set from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. About a dozen food trucks will be on-hand to feed attendees — including Barrio, The Chill Pop, Slyman's, The Proper Pig and more.
There will also be family friendly activities run throughout the evening. The Cuyahoga Astronomical Association will bring 15 telescopes for folks to peer through. The Beck Center will host a drum circle, Pink Lotus Yoga will host a free session, and that's just three of the litany of activities taking place throughout the evening.

The Summer Solstice event is weather dependent and could be cancelled or moved due to rain, the city said.
