Summer Solstice In Lakewood, Photo Recap

Couldn't make the annual Summer Solstice celebration on June 21? Catch up on the event with this photo recap.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The 2017 Summer Solstice event brought thousands to Lakewood's Solstice steps to celebrate the longest day of the year. This year, attendees were able to enjoy twice the number of food truck options, live bands, telescopes, yoga, and tons of other activities.

Attendees laid down yoga mats, walked pups, blew bubbles, banged on trash cans, and dined on delectable grub. Event planners made sure that the mistakes made in 2016 were not repeated in 2017, bringing in additional food trucks to keep everyone fed and happy.

Patch's own Rick Uldricks attended the event and captured much of it on his camera. If you were unable to attend, or were there and want to relive the joy of the day, check out this photo recap of the 2017 Lakewood Summer Solstice.
