Suspicious Death Being Investigated In Lakewood
Police are looking into the death of a 70-year-old man who lived on Robinwood Avenue.
LAKEWOOD, OH — Police are investigating the suspicious death of Daniel Donlan, a 70-year-old Lakewood man that was found dead in his Robinwood Avenue home on Monday night. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has yet to rule on the man's cause of death.
Officers were sent to the home on Robinwood at about 10:50 p.m. to perform a welfare check. The caller, one of Donlan's neighbor, said they had not seen or been able to get in contact with Donlan for several days. Police arrived, got into Donlan's home and found him dead.
It's unclear how long Donlan was dead in the house. The neighbor who called to request a welfare check said he had knocked on the 70-year-old's door several times throughout the weekend but had gotten no answer.
