This is the second Sweet Melissa location that has shuttered in as many years. The restaurant opened a University Heights location, near John Carroll University. The location closed in 2018 after about four years in business.
While it's not initially clear what the future holds for Matthew and Melissa Ullom, or the Sweet Melissa brand, the duo concluded their goodbye post on a hopeful note, writing: "Thank you again, for an amazing 11 years in Rocky River! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!"
